Spanish Sculptor Ricardo Bellver became famous because of his sculpture The Fallen Angel in 1877, which represents Lucifer falling from Heaven. Its great dramatism and originality won him the First Medal at the Spanish National Fine Arts Exhibition in 1878, and was casted in bronze for the third Paris World's Fair.
